Mark Nuaimi, Foundation Chairman

Mr. Nuaimi has lived in Fontana since 1989. He is Assistant City Manager of the City of Colton. He has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and an Associate of Science Degree from Don Bosco Technical Institute. He is married to Susanne and has three children, Jessica, Marcus and Davis.

Acquanetta Warren, Director

Ms. Warren is Deputy Director of Public Works-Operations in the Public Works Department in the City of Upland. Previously she worked in banking as Vice President/Group Product Manager for Cash Management Services. Ms. Warren also worked for City of Los Angeles 8th District Councilman Robert Farrell focusing on the delivery of city services for youth and senior citizens. She received her B.A. in Political Science/Urban Studies from Occidental College. Ms. Warren has three children Anthony, Jamaal and Aajee.

John Roberts, Director

Mr. Roberts graduated from Chaffey College Fire Academy in 1972 and is retired from the San Bernardino County Fire Department with 32 years of service. Mr. Roberts served 19 years as a Division Chief, including 15 years as the County Fire Marshal. In his last four years of service Mr. Roberts served as the Valley Division Chief (Fontana, Bloomington, Muscoy, Grand Terrace, Devore, San Antonio Heights) and Chief of Support Services. Mr. Roberts is married to wife Xiao Ming and has four grown children, Christine, Jennifer, Evan and John III and five grand children.

Frank Scialdone, Director

Frank was employed with the Fontana Police Department from 1973 through 2004. He retired as the City’s Police Chief in July 2004. Mr. Scialdone’s education consists of Associate of Science Degree - Police Science, Chaffey Junior College, June 1969; Bachelors of Science Degree – Criminology, California State University, Long Beach June 1971; Federal Bureau of Investigation, National Academy - Class 159, December 1989; Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, Command College - Class 17, January 1994; and Master of Arts Degree – Management, Cal Poly, Pomona, June 1994. Mr. Scialdone is married and has three (3) children, six (6) grandchildren.

Janice Rutherford, Director

Janice works as Public Affairs Director for the Second District Member of the State Board of Equalization, Bill Leonard. A native Californian, Janice earned a Bachelor's Degree with Highest Honors from U.C. Riverside. She holds a Master's degree in American Politics from the Claremont Graduate University, where she also did doctoral coursework in Economics and Public Policy. She is a graduate of the Great Valley Leadership Institute and participated in the California Civic Leadership Institute. In December of 2005, she married Steve Young Lim, an occupational therapist/certified hand therapist for Kaiser Permanente. Their son, Ethan Rutherford Lim, was born on April 30, 2007.

Tonia Lewis, Foundation Secretary

Tonia retired after 20-years as an operations administrator with Bank of America and subsequently became the owner of Toni Lewis Business Solutions, offering management assistance to the Fontana Chamber of Commerce and small businesses within the local area. She is a graduate of Fontana High School and attended Chaffey College, Cal State San Jose, and the American Institute of Banking, majoring in business management and bank operations.
